歌劇「カーチャ・カバノヴァー」提供開始！

レオシュ・ヤナーチェク（Leoš Janáček 1854年7月3日 – 1928年8月12日）は、モラヴィア（チェコの東部）出身の作曲家。オペラをはじめ、管弦楽曲、室内楽曲、ピアノ曲、合唱曲に多くの傑作を残した。カーチャ・カバノヴァーは3幕の歌劇で、第６作目のオペラ。原作はアレクサンドル・オストロフスキーの戯曲「嵐」。台本はヤナーチェク自身。１８６０年代のヴォルガ河畔の寒村を舞台に、厳しい家族制度がもたらす悲劇を描く。地元モラヴィアの方言を生かした分かりやすい旋律やリズムと、官能的な旋律も顔を出す叙情的な傑作。演奏はプラハ国立歌劇場 合唱・管弦楽団。
